TMIC fitment issue! Help!!

Update! 12:30pm. 1 PVC hose will not fit. No slack is coming and it's a good 1in away. That damn turbo hose needs to be longer. I'm pretty much done with this crap. Hopfully I can limp it to EQ tuning once I have the money for install my Turbo and injectors. All the TMIC needs is a longer TMiC-intake mani hose and longer TMIC-turbo hose. Idk whats needed for the PVC hose, prob some cutting and welding :/

So close.....

Just give up and I'll come get it.

For reals though... bend that isht! And wrap it with rubber if it's too close to the TMIC.

Looks like the same fitment issues I had with my APS intercooler. Took 4 hours, lots of bending/hammering and cutting the L(Y) pipe a zillion times. I ended up having to fit it on an angle. Good luck brah

LOL!

I bought a samco turbo to y pipe tube when I did mine, had to shove the tube up on the Y pipe above the normal place where the hose clamp would go by an inch or so. I think this is the issue from the picture I see with the red hose.

according to the nasioc link I posted, there's often problems fitting the spearcos, and your bracket looks like the one in the pictures

i have the TurboXS TMIC and it was a little bit of a pain to get in but nothing all that hard. i installed mine in a parking lot after sunset. When i got home i pulled it back out and bent the bracket on the drivers side down. i also loosened up the bolts for that bracket to help align it with the TMIC mounting tabs. nice thing about my TurboXS tmic is the IC mounting brackets can be flipped to either top or bottom. Wish i had a pic i could show. but it wouldn't help you with this issue. Try shifting the brackets some. I need to pull mine off again and bend the drivers side down more the hood and the IC rub a tad at times in one spot.

LOLVTEC are you near or in San Jose? If you need some help let me know.

With this spearco, he will need a longer IC to throttle body coupler.

Eric, in the first pic here, you can see the spacers I made to fit the vacuum tube.

Might i suggest you ditch that metal vacuum line and just run Rubber hoses. The TurboXS Tmic does not have a spot for you to attach the metal rail so i yanked it. I replaced the hoses with longer ones and installed a T fitting. This worked out great and looks real clean. Again wish i had pics to post to show you.

What Y pipe are you using? I had to get rid of my wrx / perrin y pipe hose and goto a solid Y pipe with samco turbo to yipe pipe coupler, then had to have a longer IC to throttle body coupler. I also had to bend the mounting brackets some.
