which tires to use and how to touch up paint

I have some stockies which i want to put snow tires on for the upcoming snowboarding season. The trip will be lots of regular aspahult but once i get close to tahoe it is light to heavy snow and ice. Any recommendations..

Paint. The nose piece of my psm wrx is chipping off badly.
1. whats the best method to get this taken care of?
2. i cant locate any psm in rattle can.. anybody have any?
3. can this be fixed without stripping the paint off the entire nose piece.

Thanks,

-J

Is this a winter only set of tires. Like will they only be put on when you make snow trips or are they gonna be daily driven?
