always.
But my current tires came on my rotas...no protection plan. plus I got lazy and didn't rotate as much as I should have. Front tires were toast. Now they're on the back. Good times in the rain. haaaa.
But I bought probably 6 or so sets of tires...as many as 10 through them. For my truck then my civic.
This will be the first set of tires I've outright purchased for my wrx. I'll probably just get them at AI since they'll have my car all day for the alignment. Unless of course someone can hook a brotha up with a discount.
some of the guys at the albrae wheel works no me cause I used to chill at streetwize all the time and I brought my civic in there like 5/6 times.

you guys carry toyo?
I run 225/45/17
I had to pick up a set today to get a good alignment done but I'm not to stoked on what I had to go with. If you've goot access I could still use tires.

I just installed a set of the new Avon 550 A/S on my stock rims. After I got the tire pressures right I was amazed. $78 each for the 16's and worth every penny. They aren't loud or quiet. They stop with a strange confidence. And they stick way hard on dry pavement. I only have about 75miles on them so I'm not sure about in the wet. Check out tire rack... They're really highly rated. Ijust took them up hwy 9 tonight to put them through the ringer... These are serious bang for the buck.

yeah i do we also carry toyos but we order them but i can just pm on what you want
personally i hated my es100's. very squeally, seemed to overheat quickly, and were no where near as good as my bfg g-force kdw-2
check this out: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...y.jsp?type=UHP
i know there is a significant price difference, but tires are one of the most important parts of the car....

I've talked to a lot of people that complained about the increase in noise as they wore. But these weren't half as bad as some other tires I've run in the past. Maybe I got a good set or something.
I don't run on the track...I'm hoping maybe twice this year. I don't want to run es100's again anyways.
check it out. i got my Falken GRB-FK451's from Discount Tire for $420 out the door (installed, after tax, everything). these are summer tires that do better in the wet and dry than pretty much any allseason. and for a better price than most all seasons too. what i did to get that price was price match the Discount tire website for the falkens, and price match firestone's $75 install fee. have the store source the tires so you dont have to order or pay shipping. here is the site for the tires, but in 225-50-16, see only $78 bucks! http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...49&rd=16&ar=50

It's a little confusing. So you bought tires from DiscountTire but picked tires locally in store that did install, right? and this 'store', is it one of Discount Tire installers?
alex
no. discount tire co is online and a store as well. since they do mail order, that means anything you see on their website, they could usually get through the store. they usually charge more in the stores because the online price doesnt include installation, which is about $25 per tire at discount. by matching firestone's installation price, you save even more. and by telling the store to source the tire for you, you save on shipping. of course, you are limited to the manufacturers they sell. but any tire store should match any online tire place.

w3rd, Yoko ES100s suck
Also Conti's are garbage IMHO.
Also Sean, I don't know why you would be recommending Azenis...
I don't tend to recommend cheap tires, since I've seen bad things happen with them, I've found happiness since I switched to stock-sized Bridgestone Potenza S-03's for my STi, along with a good alignment done by Roger Kraus in Castro Valley ( www.rogerkrausracing.com ).
