well....my finances suck right now so it looks like I have to get one set of tires for the time being.

FK452. $475
Toyo Proxes 4. $500 (found a place where they're about $440 shipped)
Kuhmo ASX. $430
Pzero Nero. $654

all with road hazard and shipped. I'm leaning toward the Proxes 4 because they are MS rated and $150 cheaper than the pzero's...and I'm thinking they handle better than the ASX consdiering how well my 451's did.

I think it will be a good middle of the road tire. If and when I get more money change up and probably go 615's on the daily and LM25's or REV1's for snow.

I know in general, you want to run a narrow tire in snow/rain to minimize the contact patch for snow/rain to get trapped, but it would be great to compensate for some of the grip ill be losing compound wise (stock evo advans are as close to R-compounds as you'll get), by going a tad wider
you can go with 255's and no fender rolling but i woudlnt suggest it on the stock rims.a have seen a few people tried running 255's on the stockers but i dont feel comfortable with the sidewall all rounded up and i dont want it popping on me on a spirited drive.as for snow i would definitely stick with narrower tires and something rated for it if youre gonna frequent the snow.but for rainy situations you can still go wide as long as the tires have a good rating on wet conditions.at the moment im running with federal 595ss and i like how they handle in the wet specially santa cruz weather :P i have a set of 255's and 275's that i swap around sometimes whenever im not lazy.

Yea the ASX's are M+S. That's why I run them. I think ASX stands for All Season Xtreme. Something like that.
