Thanks a lot guys, really helped. I guess I will wait to hear different types of exhausts and see which ones I like. I've been considering the Blitz because it's not angled, but I also like the looks of the Carbon TI, guess it just comes down to which sound I prefer. I appreciate the help and advice.

Just be ready for the drone with the Nur Spec R. And remember almost any exhaust that isn't resonated or is full catless will either drone or be somewhat raspy. This is very true with Ti exhausts.
At idle my exhaust is about 90db and at about 2k its above the 110db range. So it is very loud, also the piping diameter is a little bit bigger than 3". Do a lot of homework on the exhausts as well in terms of material and piping diameter used.
Also since you have an STi I would strongly suggest getting an Invidia downpipe, still on the cheap side but great quality. If you need help finding a place to buy some of the parts you can always hit up Josh at ImportImageRacing, dudes a great guy and will be more than willing to help you.

The Blitz has a resonater, it's just not very effective. I was running the Blitz Nur Spec for well over 3 years with a wagon. That is serious drone, but turn the radio up and it goes away. I got compliments from all kinds of people on the sound. Had a guy on a Harley following behind me on Niles canyon pull up along side at the light at the end of the road and said it reminded him of a AC Cobra, it was a older white guy. Running on stock downpipe against a JDM Kakimoto setup, the Blitz was deeper toned and just as loud. I liked it cause it tucked up nicely against the car, didn't rattle or bang around and I didn't need longer exhaust hangers for it and the straight back look. But I've gone the way of the Hush due to 3 tickets and a much longer commute now.

I love the Borla Hush. It's pretty discreet and it sounds really great with a catless down-pipe. It has a resonator so it never really gets raspy, and don't be fooled by the "hush" title this thing is pretty loud when you get on it
