speaking of legos, do you remember the pictures on the back of the box on the stuff that you can also build with the set but doesn't come with instructions? i was never able to build any of it.

I'm 32 now and I still find myself in the Lego aisle whenever I go somewhere that sells it. In fact, I even went to the toy store in San Rafael last year that sells it exclusively in order to buy some bday gifts for my boss' son. It only took me about 5 minutes to find his gifts, but I spent almost an hour in there trying to justify buying a few hundred bucks worth of Technic sets for myself.

I succumbed, but only by about $50 or so.

Yes.

When I was young, my parents and I were in London and one of the toy stores there had a HUGE lego display up. Entire cities, huge moon scapes with ships and rovers everywhere. They also had a monstrous castle battle scene set up. Come to think of it, I think one of the stores in SF had something similar a LONG time ago, too.

Oh man, good times. Was into Legos since I was around 6-7 (possibly even younger as I have some Duplo sets). Anyways, I remember building a small "town" in my living room with Legos and various furniture. It was awesome!

Legoland was pretty cool. Got to drive in those little cars and get my "license". The recreations of cities, buildings, etc. were awesome as well.

Legos will forever be cool and George Lucas is a marketing genius.
