Tilden is cool (I grew up a few blocks from there) but it really not a great place for driving because of all the bikes. And having a bunch of Subarus zipping around there will just incite the militant, Berkeley-Type Cyclists to vandalize our cars.

I'm not kidding, I've seen it happen. The only cyclists that are bigger ****** than Berkeley Cyclists are Marin Cyclists.

yeah, i've worked with cyclists for the last year or so. they can be real pissy. water bottles filled with concrete, pedal clete to door panel, you name it, they'll do it. it's so funny because their whole game plan is based upon the fact that you won't do anything back. what they don't realize is that I'm driving a 3300 pound piece of steel, and they're riding a 20 pound piece of aluminum or carbon fiber. who do you think's gonna win if some ***** decides to try to get tough and kick my door panel? i have two choices. first, with a simple flick of the wheel, i help him drive off a cliff. or two, i pull in front of him, slam on the brakes, get out of my car and beat him and all 20 of his spandex wearing friends within an inch of thier lives. they think they're such hot shlt, but in reality they are merely spandex wearing, leg shaving, little bike riding betches. god, if they would just stay in the bike lane, i wouldn't have a single problem. but when there's a ten foot wide bike lane and three *******s are riding side by side in the CAR LANE, i just want to.... i just don't get it. some people are just brain donors.

public roads are for bikes, motorcycles, cars, and trucks.

D-cell batteries are good to apply to any of the above groups, should they impede any of the other groups.

I.E. don't be a wuss and not drive on a road because there are bicyclists there....that IS weak...

I drive tilden, skyline, and grizzly peak every day on my way to and from school. Sometimes I go home through canyon which is pretty swanky also.

I drive Tilden once in a while whenever I need to get out or blow off some steam. Grizzly Peak, Bear Creek road, all good. I blew by a county Marshall's car at about 30 over the limit once, but after 2 minutes without seeing any flashing lights, I figured he must have been napping...

I live in moraga, a few blocks out of canyon. And yes its definatly great driving. I would say that the best drive, is to start on san pablo dam road, turn onto tilden, go through tilden, turn left up onto the oakland hills, go all the way to canyon, then through canyon to castro valley :-). Good half hour drive maybe longer depending on how you drive. Also, I have never seen a cop on any of those roads, other than grizzly peak.
