Ticket Assassin works great!
I have been meaning to do a write-up. But basically do this:
Send your bail (check for amount of fine) and a request for Trial By Written Declaration.
The court sends you a Written Declaration Form in two-three weeks.
You have 30 days or so to write up why you are Not Guilty. The stop sign one is classic, Ticket Assassin has pre-made write ups or you can just get creative.
Send in your Written Declaration and wait for a court date.
WIN a dismissal.
Wait one month for your bail to be returned.
Profit.

The only thing I might add to this is that you have to be good at cut n paste, have a little common sense as well as have some sort of grasp of the English language (since a judge will be reading this). Knowing a little about how the 'system' works as well as having a little 'in court' experience there helps a bunch too. It works VERY well, however it doesn't do all the work for you.

I used ticket assasin, and the letters they gave me as examples weren't very good. I wrote the guy an e-mail, because he said he could send me additional letters, and he hasn't. He said he has some "good examples if you got a radar or paced speeding ticket". I haven't received an e-mail back from him. Anybody out there can help me? I would be greatly appreciative. Please send me a PM or post or something. ps... when i got the ticket, the cop said "these cars have a tendancy of going too fast". And then gave me a ticket for the wrong license plate on my "2000 WRX".... damn... i wish I had a WRX in 2000!!! that moron.

yeah, happened to me too. I think the site has good examples, but I think the site owner sucks **** when it comes to reply emails. He said (on the web site) that he would reply with in 1 or 2 business days, but never did. It has been over a month and I still haven't gotten jack from him. I've already send in the stuff of course. It's not too bad, but I feel like I got jacked!

Wow, some mixed reviews, but mostly good. So thats a good thing. How successful is Ticket Assassin as to speeding tickets involving Laser radar? (As in a 66 in 45, caught by Laser)

You can always sign up and not pay. I'm a capitalist and all... don't get me wrong... but he doesn't offer any services whatsoever. I can't imagine how much money he makes just off those several hundred words in examples that he has. I think all ticket assasin users will agree with me when I say that it's shocking how few examples he gives you.
His heart was in the right place when he made the site.... but at this point, he should either refuse payment, or start responding to e-mails

On a separate note... are there any legal experts out there?
When he gave me the ticket... he wrote 2000 WRX and put the wrong license plate number. Does that void the ticket or anything like that?

I am no legal expert but I can tell you what I've seen. It depends on the judge. A friend of mine had his name misspelled on the ticket (flipped two of the letters) and got off. There was another guy with the same situation and the judge did not dismiss the case.

You know how people always say, if the cop doesn't show up your case is dismissed? That is not always true as well. I was in the traffic court 3 1/2 years ago where it happened to this guy FOUR times. The judge just said to come back next time.
