I was thinking of taking my 2011 GR sti hatch up sometime this weekend or maybe the week after to Boreal. So my question is the summer tires that I currently have on now should be ok? I have plenty of tread wear left on these tires and I don't want to spend $$ on some all-seasons just yet. I might just get some cables to put in the fronts just incase.

Definitely bring cables for all wheels if you plan to leave on your summer tires.
