I only read a few sentence and I must say that the misuse of the word "your" really bothers me

"Your" is possessive, as in "this is your book."

"You're" is a combination of "you" and "are," as in "You're cherry picking customers."

remember folks, it's "You're an idiot" not "Your an idiot."

ok I'm done! out! Happy Hoildays to you all!

Get a high flow DP or somethin', I'm not 100% sure on STi's and how the uppipes are either. in my opinion, I like AutoHQ for tuning, but that's just me.

I went down south to have my car tuned. They seen no problem with tuning it.

We made 425 tq at 4200 rpm and 402hp at 5k and it held 400hp all to redline.
This all on so-cal 91 pump gas.
Car drives like oem, throttle response is non turbo like. Its like driving a totally differant car....

Nice numbers I<3subie I need to get my slow A$$ out to concord for the coco meet one day. My buddie just got a 426 hp EVO out of GST they roll on thursdays. Anyway to the OP. I will throw the mistakes I made out there. I camoe over from the honda acura world where you can bolt everything to include the kitchen sink on the car and it will only improve performance. Totally different world with the subie. Get your mods but wait till you get an ap or other device before putting them on. In retrosoect I wish now I had not gotten the AP for more tuneability dircet to the computer. It will work out though because im contemplating running e-85 which will work great with the ap switching between tunes. Point your car may run poopie if you do too many things without a tune or AP. Find a shop you like come up with a plan together and stick to the plan.
Cheers

I still get 275 to 300 a tank of gas. Gas pedal / heavy foot results may vary... lol I'm in phx right now. Heading out in the morning to where ever...
Not sure if I'll go west or east... lol

Yes.
We internet tuned the car at 1st. He spent a while with me building a rom, having me logging it then email the log back to him. We must have upgraded the tune file 5 times. Then after reading the logs I drove straight down to him. I got there late so we went and got some dinner and chatted for a bit.
My car ran better being tuned over the internet then the last two people did having the car in front of them. Dyno and not... lol

Next morning he spent from 8am till 1pm on the tune. Charged me a flat rate for tuning. So when it took a bit I didnt get charged extra.

I cant tell you how differant the car feels. It was well worth the drive down and the time. I have learned, You have to drive for quality work. I didnt get my car back stalling with someone blaming a flywheel. I got it back perfect, Just like I did when I picked it up from LIC.

Cant wait for Bill to come up to norcal to do some tuning. I'll have some more mods to get retuned by then.
