Smog Check Question

So gents (and ladies, if you're out there haha), it's about time for my smog check, and I was wondering:

I have a Greddy Ti-C catback and NOTHING else; if I were to shove the silencer back in, would I pass smog? Or do I need to slap the stocker back on?

Thank you all!

It depends if you need to go to a regular smog station or a smog only station. If its a regular, then u should be fine doing nothing at all.

You will be okay doing the smog test with your catback on. I mean, you do have your cats, right?

A catback means zero when it comes to smog. A turbo back is another story, a catless turbo back is a for sure fail.

You're fine as is, no need to get your hands dirty.

Sounds good, guys. Thanks. Just gotta make sure I stick the silencer back in, though, right?

No, smog doesn't test exhaust volume.

Any catback is fine for smog station. After smog check, get a turbo back and give CARB a finger. Just have your stock downpipe handy for next time.

I have the same Greddy Ti-C exhaust w/ silencer and it passed the smog check just fine. I did mine a couple of weeks ago.

as long as you're not going to the state ref, you're ok with just the catback. No need to do anything
