Things to do while in Japan?

I'm in Japan right now. While the itinerary I have is pretty much full, there is room for some modification. Anyone know of anything good to do while in Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo, Yokohama areas?

Yokohama has one of the biggest Chinatowns in the world ... stop by there. While your in Yokohama also stop by ASM (s2000 specialist and Recaro dealer) as well as a Super Autobacs.
Kyoto ... check out the Golden Temple and the Castle thats there... AWESOME sights. If you have a whole day to kill... you can jump on the JR and theres a ALL SUBARU Up Garage maybe an hour away by train.. wasnt to much work. They had ALOT of cool used parts for uber cheap.

Tokyo... jump on the JR and go to as many Up Garage's as you can. Top Secret and Super Autobacs are accessable by the JR line... maybe about 20 minutes away. have fun !

head to Ota City (I believe it's north of Tokyo, about an hour+ by shinkansen and then bus) and take a tour of the Subaru/FHI factory

STi Museum!

+1 to the Ramen Museum.

Also, if you're going to be staying for a little bit, look into getting a JR pass. I think it's much cheaper than buying a ticket every time you want to use the JR.

i was disappointed with the ramen museum.

make sure to go to kiyomizu-dera while you're in kyoto.

check out the tsukiji fish market in tokyo (you have to go early... before 6am) and eat at sushi dai.

eat tako-yaki and okonomi-yaki in osaka.
