Things to do in Seattle?
Go check out a Mariners' game; the team is garbage but the venue's great.
Happy hour at Zig Zag Cafe. They've got the most well-stocked bar in the city and the one of the most respected bartenders in the country.

Rob Roy is another great spot to grab a drink.

I almost forgot... it's a couple hours south, but MountStHelens.com Information Resource Center & Visitor Guide
Go to Ballard:
-Ballard Locks is a good way to waste a couple hours
-La Carta de Oaxaca is a MUST. Hands down my favorite restaurant in the Seattle area
Go to Fremont:
-bridge troll
-awesome restaurants and shops
PM me if you want recommendations for non-tourist crap from a former WA resident.

Also in the Ballard/Fremont area is Brouwer's, and Hale's Ales. I guess it's all obviously beer themed and there are quite a few more as well. If you or your lady likes chocolate, there is a posh chocolate maker there called "Theo" that has all kinds of weird/cool things and does samples. If you are near UW, there is an excellent Thai place called Thai Thom - my favorite Thai place ever - prepare to have your face burned off. The cooks get crazy and it's entertaining - I think last time there I was hit with some flying egg shells.
You can ride a ferry to one of the islands, like Bainbridge for example, and cruise around for a bit. Lots to see. It's fun to find something interesting (store, place to see, whatever) and walk there as the city is very hilly and there are lots of cool buildings. Can't lose with the Pike Place Market as well. The bridge troll is actually holding an old VW... Some sweet recommendations in here. The Boeing museum is really fun if you are into planes. Just walking around Pike and Pine downtown is pretty fun.

most of my recommendations have been stated, but if you're looking for fine dining check out Waterfront Grill right on the Sound, it's on the north end of the street next to the water - if you love popcorn, check this place out: kukuraza - there's also boats that go from Lake Union to the Sound, etc.
