My girlfriend came up to Seattle with me for winter break and I did the following:

Space needle lunch on a weekday ~$100. Pretty pricey meal but the food is amazing and you get a 360 degree view of Seattle and the Puget Sound.

Then I took her to Pike Place market which is a huge marketplace with a bunch of food, flower, jewelry, seafood vendors. Lots of good stuff there.

Then we took a ferry ride across the sound to Bainbridge Island and got fantastic views of Mt. Rainier and the city.

It was a really fun day and even though I've lived in Washington for 22 years it was still fun to do all this stuff over again.

Done both of these, and loved them! Daniel might not fit in the underground tour though.

Go to Ballard:

-Ballard Locks is a good way to waste a couple hours
-La Carta de Oaxaca is a MUST. Hands down my favorite restaurant in the Seattle area

Go to Fremont:
-bridge troll
-awesome restaurants and shops

PM me if you want recommendations for non-tourist crap from a former WA resident.

I went to Seattle for a day during a bachelor trip (my friend and the best man aren't into overly crazy adventures, I know). Salumi has one of the best roasted pork sandwiches I've ever eaten. Oh man. Marcela's is a pretty solid Creole food spot. I had this thing called the crawfish pie, it was pretty outstanding. This stuff haunted my dreams for a few days.

They are a little janky, but there are also ghost and murder tours. Or at least there were 8 years ago.

On the gun side I cant remember the name of the specific shop I am looking for so I know no help, but go to Lakewood and stop by tactical taylor they will be able to point you in the right direction, plus they always have some neat stuff. Its about 30-45 mins out of seattle.

Plus the $1 chinese buffet is there too. Not too famous other than it was featured on worlds dumbest criminals where a guy tried to steal the T.V.
