Thieves suck.

4:30 PM: Went to J-Town to pick up some items. I park on Geary and go run my errands. Come back to find my back passenger window smashed and my backpack missing. I was pissed! They got some important papers, my friends video game i just borrowed today, and my iPod. eh.

Thanks for reading.

Right next to the Miyako near Laguna. A little ways up from Seoul Garden.

sorry to hear about that.

that part of geary scares me. everyday i jog up and down there, and everyday, just about, i see new shattered glass all over the road from where another unfortunate soul lost all their valuables.

theives, go die... cuz u'r worth more dead than you are alive.

thanks.

Damn Sorry to hear Marc. I've learned to always put stuff in my trunk and lock it now. The only way to get to my trunk is with a key. Whatever makes it harder for theives, I've done it.

I had a friend who used to live a couple blocks from J-Town off Van Ness a few years ago. We had a friend visiting from So Cal who parked real quick on the corner of his apartment so he could grab some stuff. A half hour later, he found his Civic broken into and all of his CD's were stolen. This was in BROAD DAYLIGHT. That area freakin' sucks. That's why I park my car in the garage if there's spaces. =/

Yeah, that is a pain..

Here are the rules to help keep your car from getting broken into during the holidays, and year round.

Rule #1 - Never leave anything in plain sight inside the car.
Rule #2 - Never park somewhere (mall or other busy area) and get out, then open the trunk and throw your purse, backpack, camcorder, bags from a different store. - This just shows a thief what you have.

Rule #3 - Always put just purchased items into the trunk when leaving a shopping location - this way when you get out of the car at the next location, you are not doing rule #2.

Rule #4 - If you are going to the mall with knowing you are going to buy a ton of stuff, bring someone with you to help hold bags, or bring some type of cart with you to hold extra bags. You do not want to be going into a store, coming out to put the bags of goods into the car, and then walk back into a nearby store to do more shopping, and bring more bags back to the car.

If thieves see you doing this, they will wait for you to deposit your bags into the car, then when you go back into the mall that is when they make their move.....You come back to a busted up trunk or window, and all your stuff is gone.

So, with that being said...........Go out and shop away!
