Sweet. That'll definitely be my next option when my struts start to clunk.

did you get the tarmac for the RCE's when you had them re valved? Do you feel that the $475 is worth it?

For about $200 more you could get a new set of D-specs or something along those lines. Thoughts?
I don't believe D-Specs are available for the 2005+ STI's (seeing as your profile lists your car as a 2006 STI) unless they happened to have released STI fitment ones recently (entirely possible, I just haven't checked to see).

I believe there were people that were getting Koni's to fit, but if I had a STI I would probably consider going with the Feal Revalve.

yeah after reading their site i think i am leaning toward that route for now with some RCE's and then save up for a bit. or wait until i feel like putting something on the credit card hahaha.

Thanks for the input everyone!

actually its the opposite. ALL of these taiwanese coilovers youve seen for the last 10 years (Megan, Stance, HKS, Gruppe-S, etc) are all from the same factory , Bor-chuann.

????????????-Taiwan Bor-Chuann (BC-racing)

they finally just started releasing them under their own name a couple years ago

Here's the thing about shocks... you get exactly what you pay for.

all of the el-cheapo coilovers pretty much ride like crap and generally last about a year. You just can't build a good shock for less than x-amount of dollars.
If you have a budget, than you want to do as-little as possible the best you can. As soon as you add adjust-ability, threaded bodys etc, you are taking money away from other features.

My suggestion is almost always to run springs and shocks instead of coilovers on street cars. You just don't need to (and won't) adjust the suspension. A set of good nonadjustable shocks (Bilstien, Tokico) and a good set of springs will work better and last longer than a set of crappy coilovers that will probably end up costing the same.
My suggestion: http://turninconcepts.com/index.php?...1_9_11_261_280 Take a look at their "not bangin rear end"

ASTs are wonderful! Anytime you can get a great shock, the suspension just feels so much better! I currently have AST4100s with 600#F and 700#R, it's a little stiff but I've always had stiff suspension and that's what I'm used to. I had a BMW M3 with C/Os and Koni Yellows, 450#F and 500#R. The BMW rode a lot more roughly than my LGT. It's all in the shocks!

If you want killer coil overs in that price range just buy jeff's. IPOZESTU has a for sale thread going. Best set up for the money by miles.
