Next year you'll see someone...probably A-Rod come over to fill the barry card and they'll spend some money on a few players and go after a world series in the next couple years.

I say **** you to the Giants orginization for handling it the way they did.

I hope barry ends up in anaheim or on a decent american league team and wins a pennant before he retires.

Drugs or no drugs....one of the best that's ever played...no drugs he'd probably be the best.

to bad someone else from the drug years will pass the record in the next 10 years.
+1 thanks barry

+1. I wish they would let him finish his career, especially for as long as he's been a Giant. They totally S**T on him. I'm dissapointed in them right now

They definately **** on him but I think going into the season everyone...including barry knew he wouldn't be a giant next year. They were milking him.

He needs to spend a couple years in the American league doing nothing but hit. Hank Aaron did.

I'd like to see him hit 850 or more. Barring injuries Pujols and ARod are both on pace to smash 800. Pujols first ever to start 30/100 first 7 years of career.

very blessed ? my ***!!!

screw berry hes a drug taking no face having douche that should have been banned years ago! and is why i hate baseball and don’t care to watch/follow a minute of it!

hitting the ball is talent ill admit that, those ***** are flying by in the majors and just having the skill to hit that sucker is commended but his steroid use made up that other EXTRA half that made bonds that much better!

but for the MLB to allow someone known to use performance enhancers break legit records of other players that have come along the years is disgusting! and why i have no love for baseball!!!

how can you sit here and let someone CHEAT!? what message are you sending to all those little kids that suit up every weekend and hope to one day be a pro? Is it ok for kids to think that “performance enhancers” is the only way they will every be pro? Its sick, JUST SICK!!

its rediculous plain and simple and i hope bonds self implodes and never hits the field again! scew that bobble head looking M0F__CKER

/with love

P.s this is a vent and the questions are directed to MLB commissioners

although it is an amazing feat what he's done, he's still a douchebag at the end. I just saw a video of Mike Krukow, the Giants commentator, whose always had great things to say about Barry, get blown off by Barry when he asked for a quick interview during that last homestand game. Mike had that "well screw you too" look in his face after Barry "dismissed" him.

wouldn't you be a bit pissed off if the team that you gave 13 years to and made MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of dollars for just made an announcement like that without talking to you. It was an improper an unprofessional way to deal with it. Imagine if your boss walked in while you were at say a trade show meeting with all your coworkers and clients...and said...so and so i fired. You'd be standing there with your pants down like...wtf? You expect me to finish out my year of work with you and then leave quietly.

I'd be pissed too.

good luck..you'd have to liquidate EVERYONE...especially the comish!

you apparently don't follow baseball history. Ligit records? Want legit look at Pete Rose's fat *** getting over 4000 hits.

Most of those big home run hitters have been using performance enhancing drugs since money came in to baseball. Greenies. Speed. Horse steroids. The honey/oat/speed ***** they give race horses before races. Steroids. HGH.

It's been something different for every generation. More pitchers use steroids than hitters. Barry was put in a position like many other stars....take the hgh which at the time WAS NOT BANNED...and compete with the likes of Big Mac and the worthless sosa...or sit back and be an overlooked star. He made a poor decision. But baseball as an organization has put the players in this position by paying guys that hit long ***** or win 20 games 25 million a year. As long as there is money to be had people will find something to take to get an edge.

Back in the day you didn't have specialized pitchers. You had tired armed guys that threw 9 innings damn near every game 50 times a year. You had short porches where some guys where lucky enough to play.....hank aaron....babe ruth...etc. it was a different game. It'll be a different game in 20 years.

Barry didn't take the steroid..he took hgh which was not banned. Since it's been banned he hasn't tested positive for it.

I'm not saying barry is a saint. The guy is a *****. But he is one of the greatest ball players of all time..hitting and fielding and we got to watch him for 14 years.

If you don't feel lucky then so be it. I don't give a rats ***. Some people in detroit didn't feel blessed to watch barry sanders because he retired young. People overlook the good stuff when the media tells you nothing but the bad ****.

Barry is a private guy...always has been. The media has always disliked him. Over the years he's gotten to be more and more of a dick towards them...but you know what...I'd tell them to **** off too. Who gives a **** if someone doesn't like you cause you won't do their interviews or explain why your slumping..etc. I make money playing baseball...I'll play baseball. Not everyone is a media darling.

just like TO. Guy gets a bad rap but talk to anyone that's ever played with him and they'll tell you that on the field he's a warrior. He doesn't get in trouble like a lot of these other *** holes but people hate him anyways...but yet they'll love randy moss and chad johnson who pull the same ****.

media bias.

so...feel how you feel. I watched the giants be a pretty damn good team for 14 years. I watched someone hit the **** out of the ball and hit homeruns in a ball park that people don't hit home runs in.
