We were very blessed to have had 13 years of barry bonds home runs. What 4 mvps while he was here? One world series trip. Tons of playoffs.
The last few years they've refused to spend any money on the team because they didn't need to win to fill the seats...they had barry. So why not sit on their hands and make BANK.
Next year you'll see someone...probably A-Rod come over to fill the barry card and they'll spend some money on a few players and go after a world series in the next couple years.
I say **** you to the Giants orginization for handling it the way they did.
I hope barry ends up in anaheim or on a decent american league team and wins a pennant before he retires.
Drugs or no drugs....one of the best that's ever played...no drugs he'd probably be the best.
