testing waters... Lemans Karting meet.. 20% off.
I had a good time. It was still crowded and disorganized, but the racing was great.
It would have been 10 times better if we knew who was going when. Make the sessions run like the German train system.
However, there is no denying the fun factor.

so who got bragging rights?
I've only been there once so I doubt I would have done to well. sorry I missed it. Kinda glad I did now though....too many people.
If we're gonna do it again and it's gonna be that big, we should organize a meet there and take over the track for a couple hours. Kinda rent the place out.

yeah, it would have been better if we did get to run heats though, instead of just practiced. i feel like my 40 dollars wasnt well spent. hopefully the next time we have a meet there, we'll be able to have some real heats comp. other than that it was fun.
thanks for setting this up for us sean.

$40 isn't much of a discount.
Racing is good and all, but its a small track, and you can 'race' plenty in sprint for less $$$. If you got something to prove then dish out the $$$. I just want to go and have fun, not pay $40 for less seat time then $38 spring will get me.
Think about that next time, but thanks for setting it up.

Matt,
$40 was a discount considering we got 2 practices and a sprint race...
Believe me, a sprint race alone is $38. And each practice was $20. So basically we got $78 of track time for $40.
