I went to Le Mans this night and they sucked.

The guys at the counter acted like fools and gave us a wait estimate of 40 minutes. For that entire time we sat in the lobby and read magazines. When it was up, we went up to ask about our status and they said that the people racing were still on the course and that it would be another hour or more...

I'm not faulting them for acting like they've never taken money from a customer before (he took about 5 minutes (really, 5 minutes. time it. it is an eternity) to run my credit card). I'm not faulting them for asking us, a party of 4, to stand single file while at the counter (wtf?). I'm not faulting them for asking my phone number and then not writing it down or entering it into the computer. I'm faulting them for saying it was a 40 minute wait when they meant 2 hours. If they just told us 2 hours to begin with, I would have said "ok" and then went out for ice cream or something and come back. I'm not going to sit in their ****ing lobby for an hour while the cashier is standing 5 feet away and doesn't give a **** enough to tell us it will be longer than expected (which he knew -- we found out when he explained the situation to another customer).

They are an unorganized group and they won't live up to their end of a promise.

It might fly at chucky cheese bumper carts, but not at a $40/20min track.

Didn't race. After we were rescheduled I asked for a refund.

We watched The Fantastic Four instead.

The company was good but the night was a dud.

was it the shaggy haired kid who drives the sti that was at the front counter? if it was, that guy is a complete idiot. i heard the other employees talking about him like he was a moron, talking about how he messed up someone else's reservation, i guess the same thing happened to you. same thing happened when i went there last weekend. only difference was that we got on the track in time and everything, and the racing is UBER FUN y0, but the transaction details were the same. this stupid kid spent the same 5 minutes trying to run a godam credit card through the machine. first time he put in the wrong number, then he forgot to push a button. its a godam credit card machine! they make it easy for fools like you to operate!!! and yeah, asked for our numbers but didnt do anything with them. so why ask? its not like he's selling anything either. so maybe a job at mcdonalds would be one step more difficult since you are actually selling material goods.

but i have to say, the racing is really really fun. and they did tell us it would be about 2 hours. so we left and came back. and then we got on the track, so there wasnt anything wrong with that part.

just as a disclaimer, that was not a personal attack to someone on the boards. i was just making observations and overhearing the other employees explicitly saying those things and them shaking their heads like it always happens.
