Barring its not rush hour and you have the ***** to pass through Novato "at speed." I guess the radar detector makes it a bit safer but their traffic court = the devil.

Try Sebastopol...

or for a really fun drive, look for places in Occidental or Bodega Bay. My fiance works over on Fifth St., and it takes her about 20 minutes to casually come in from our place in Sebastopol.

Sebastopol is a rather laid back community, and is full of nice, smaller stores to get away from the major chain markets, and unique boutiques and places where your g/f might find a job.

Damn...sounds like a lot of fun.

I mean granted CA will cost about 300-400 more per month for me to live in then other places that are recruiting me but the job in CA is offering enough to compensate.

I think I will most likely be up there in a couple months.

What Roo said, and +1 for Sebastopol! It's a safe, friendly little town with a great sense of community and located close to most other places; the commute to Santa Rosa is pretty laid back because you get to avoid most of S.R. city traffic and the 101 grind. If you have to commute on a north-south axis (on 101), for example from Petaluma or Healdsburg, things get much more aggravating. Just be aware that you'll need a six firgure income to afford a home in the Sebastopol area (if that's what you're looking for), thanks to the yuppies and gentleman farmers driving the median home price to the 700-800k region!

Oh man, that completely bites. Well i'm sure we can find another place. But that one was the best. Great straight away with plenty of landing space.

Once again guys (huck and jeremy) sorry i missed the drive the over day.

OK here's the status.

Gonna be doing a couple more phone interviews this Friday with the CEO and another one of the VPs at the place I wanna work at. I'm also doing a short video (not like that) for them as well as sending my Subaru Commercial to them.

They'll also be flying me up there to do a final in-person interview during the week of Jan. 9th...anyone wanna hang out IF I have free time?

Sometime during the week...might not be the whole week.

They're gonna work out the travel details soon so I'll let you all know.

It might only be something like a couple of days to talk to folks and check out the town.

We might only get to hang out for one night of drunken abandon.
