Team Polizei's InFamous 2005 Gumball 3000 Rally Florence Polizia Escort Video
Gumball 3000 Rally (2005)
Truth is stranger than fiction.
Team Polizei's Alex Roy, eager to improve his position departing Florence's Piazza Michaelangelo, stumbles upon the local Polizia. Amazingly, the Polizia agree to lead Team Polizei's BMW M5 through the city at 100+mph, narrowly avoiding killing dozens of pedestrians and commuters.

Ah Italy! How I miss it. I shot the world intro to the Lexus 430 on the Positano Coast... when I was driving, this is just the way they would get be back to where we start filming again. Truly the only country where you can overtake police (with SOME respect to speed) on the freeway and then stand on it again for hours at at a time.
Came back to U.S. after 6 weeks of that and it was like a giant wad of Geritol drivers stuck in the pipe needing 'liquid plumber' to move again.
Brilliant little piece!
