Thanks! Friend of mine saw these cars racing up on 80 last night he said they were doing double the speed limit. Is this an annual event? He said there was also a wide body Subaru keeping up with the Porshce/Ferrari cars. Did you get a picture of it?

well there isn't a wide body subaru there. Theres factory flares on the sedans, so people tend to think that it's a custom wide body.
They do this every year, but entrance fee is 8000gbp...which is about 12,5k

Also, I'm too lazy to search for what the Gumball 3000 actually is, so will somebody please post what it is for all us vets who've don't know? (hehehe)
And if I get pulled over doing 120 on 280, can I just tell the cop "don't worry, I'm in the gumball 3000" and just drive off?
