Friend just called and mentioned seeing some Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar and yes a modified wide body Subaru racing on 80 towards Sacramento. Cars were traveling over 120mph but slowed when necessary due to heavy traffic.

yeah i was there i wasnt impressed by all the exotic cars. but the vivid racing suby almost made me **** my pants cause it was so beautiful. hahaha also saw a yellow evo 8 there too. some nice sting rays but everything else was basicly the same. you didnt miss out on much.

yup i was there i saw 2 Gc8's btw one white one debadged with 22b wing and blue one with an apex exhaust any of u guys on here ? but yeah there was some nice cars out there, i actually followed them up to berkely then went back home

damn....i just read that article.
i can't believe they would arrest people over that **** right at the beginning of the race too u know?
vivid racing's wrx looks very riced out. of course its sitll fast, but if he still got that 5 spd gearing, i can only imagine how flustrated he will be when he is crusing next to those 911, 360, 550, etc..
because the 5th gear will run out before he can use all of his HP.
does anyone know how fast 5th gear can go?

i don't know anything about gumball 3000.
but last night i was going to work(11pm)highway280
i was in my nsx and this modified jaguar lookin thing had a gumball 3000 sticker on his car.
he tried to race me so i punched it... looked back and the guy was nowhere to be found, so i slowed down,
he caught up and i turned down my stereo and his car sounded like sh*t and sparks were shootin out his exhaust.
so i said f*ck it and kept goin.
i thought it was just some stoopid a$$ car.
but after reading this thread..... gumball gots some ill cars.
