Very sad. His pictures are pretty awesome though, from a purely photo standpoint.

 

Yea man I was up there this weekend with some friends and we could see all the huge clouds of smoke from the southwest shore while heading to the casinos. My friends mom and grandfather were there while it was happening and tried to help out like everyone else was but it was just really dry up there this weekend and the fire spread too quickly. It actually could have been a lot worse considering the conditions up there.
