that's all cool but i still fail to understand the gist of talking 3 exposures and then merging them. What are we really achieving?

exposure is used to put focus at different depths, if you layer the best parts of each exposure you get a picture with sharp focus at every level of depth

all the HDR ones look too white, like foggy

Alright Suby Dude, here's my first good HDR picture! It took me a few trys to get it, but I think it looks pretty good

As long as you have a point and shoot that you can adjust the exposure manually, you can do HDR.
if u take pix in RAW format there's a way to do it. i haven't tried it. just read about it.

I know you may not have meant for this to happen, but I REALLY like how the clouds are out of focus. Brings the attention to the car, which is very crisp.

hard to get focused sky, unless you just take 1 shot @ a pretty fast shutter speed.

i think this one had a pretty long exposure also:

Do you usually take shots that have slow shutter speed to do this? Or just when you have low lighting, like usual?

I like that picture too, how the red accents the bumper, though I'd try to PS the one on the rear, out.
