amazon has the tilt for $250 with a service plan.

they also have the 8300 (AT&T) for $.01 after rebates and with plan.

and the t-mobile wing for $125 after rebates with TM plan...

good prices?

amazon has some good prices but you should read the fine print before buying from them

Badass!
So I've been using mine for some time now, and comparing it to the 8525, I can only complain about 1 thing: I hate how the Tilt slides to the left (stupid!), whereas the 8525 slid to the right. Otherwise, I like all the changes made.

Yes! I'm a righty too and after I slide it open, I have to use my left hand to pull the stylus out. Ghey, but otherwise, this phone is off the hook.

Testing GPS softwares right now, so far iGo is in the lead over iNav.

Before the phone ran through the customization stuff, did you reset it so the AT&T bloatware didn't install?

what? it's uber fast. definitely hard reset the phone and when it says "customizing in 3 seconds," reboot that ****. you'll get a lot less stuff running from att that doesn't need to installed.

^ Sounds good. Didn't do that before, but in spite of the extra stuff, it's still way faster than the 8525.

I'm probably gonna be switching to AT&T under my dad's plan and getting one of these. I currently have a T mobile MDA which is a older HTC phone that I love. My friend just got a HTC Mogul and was raving about the Tilt/Kaiser so I cant wait.

I flashed cooked ROMs before but I couldn't get it to fly on the Tilt. Advantage would be super huge storage since a lot of the stuff from AT&T won't be on there.

Next best thing, which I did, was to reset before the phone customizes the AT&T crap. Do it. You will like it.

That's a great tip! Seriously. I hate all that extra crap that's "included". If my current 8125 takes a crap in the next few months it looks like I know what I'll be getting. Great review peeps!
