Suspension Issue
Hey everyone,
Last night, my brother noticed something about my fender rubbing issue which happens to only occur on the rear right. He happened to notice that the space between the tire and the fender (rear right) is only about the width of one index finger. We then measured the space between the rest of the fenders and tires and it turned out to be about 1 1/2 finger width. Because of that, it lead us to believe that the fender rubbing may definitely have something to do with the spring (the car was already fender rolled and lowered on tanabe df210 lowering springs when I purchased it). I've been thinking about upgrading the suspension, but I have no idea which direction to go...
Anybody know any shops in the bay area that would be able to help diagnosing with this suspension issue?
Thanks!

mine does the same thing. I was under the impression that it had just worn out faster... let's see what the knowledgeable folks have to say.

Probably a blown shock. The shock isn't fully extending with enough force to put the car back up in the correct position. When you take it off the car, if it looks like this video, you need new oem shocks or aftermarket. I just found out that mine was blown on sunday. I'm ordering my new suspension today. Also, check that tire and all of your tires, from what I heard, if your strut is blown, it can cause waves in the tire wear which I saw in my past set of tires which gave me reason to believe its been blown for a while..

you got some pimpadellic hydraulics in the rear? (super bouncy ride) if so, yes your struts are doneso and your springs are doing all the work rather than letting the strut dampen and slow down the reciprocations of the shock. but that much a difference? damn! if i had ever seen a spring slip off the perch, that would be it. but i have NEVER seen a spring slip off any of the perches. GL!
