i've stalled it before in 1st in my garage. luckily i had the hand brake on. i can attest to it being a little "violent," but it shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't make it a habit.

It happens to the best of us, it just does. Also, I keep my car in first gear when it's off (in gear)

+1. I've always left all of my cars in gear when I park them, doesn't matter what the road conditions are.
