522 miles, just under 13 hours....
... two drive thru trees, a short stop at Confusion Hill, out to the ocean, only a breif dealing with serious traffic congestion on the return trip, and home in time for the Simpsons.
Found several (- like more than I could possibly explore) miles of exquisite twisty gravel with absolutely no traffic, one strech was nearly a full hour of drifting back and forth along a ridgeline above the fog.
Then there are the endless twisty paved roads, 101 itself becomes a fairly enjoyable drive once you get up out of Hopland, but I find that any of the other roads up around there are really worth the trip up, for those of us who like that kind of thing anyway.
The real beauty of those roads is that you don't even have to push to far into excessive speed for them to still be really fun and challenging.
Next time I'll keep it all a little closer, hopefully someone else will care to join me?.....
