I do it to run the 93 OCt cobb OTS map. There is a noticeable difference. Cost is about $10 more a tank to fill up with the blend.

The blend can make a stock STI run better.
I think it's really funny how 100oct has not gone up more than $1/gal since I started buying it in 1997. I think it was around $4.89 before... Not sure.

I am only getting around 40mpg on my bike, so I must be doing something wrong or something. Have to figure that out.

yup, its still $7.50 at laguna seca and always has been. Shows you that they are scamming is rather than "having" to raise the prices

There's a 76 near me that's charging around 7.60 per gallon for "racing fuel" If it was 4.89, I would be filling up with a good mix right now.

Haha.. Ok. Just saying that back in '97 when I started buying 100oct at the station in RWC and the one in Los Banos on LA trips, it was $4.89 and now 11 years later it is $5.89. I have not checked the fuel prices at tracks since I had my WRX but I definitely never paid no $7.50 at Laguna, Sears or T-Hill. I will look next time I am out there.

I can see them charging $7.50, since it is a race track. I would if i were the track owner.

I got 23 mpg, up from 22 I'll try harder this tank, until i see some cool turns and cant help myself.

Ever since I've seen it, it's been 7.50 for 100oct. there

I put my rotas with hankooks on the other day, and I think my mileage has gone to ****

Well, I just realized have never bought 100oct at Laguna - only T-Hill and Sears and it's been since 2004 at T-Hill and since 2002 at Sears when my GT-4 engine went kaboom. Actually it was more of a "CRUNCH boom thud crunch crunch screech urp."

I have to check the price of competition 91 at Laguna Seca, last time I checked it was $4.50

If it doesn't go up "my cars so fast I get my gas at the race track"

EDIT:if it hasn't gone up yet, when I get gas in a few days I'll fill up there, it'll cost $6 more and I may get better mileage (I'm guessing competition 91 is a purer fuel than street 91)

did the mileage on your barbie car go down when you put the rs2's on? Or is that just a side effect of stickier tires?

EDIT: nevermind, I forgot I went for a drive down the road after putting the new tires on. Twisties at 3k in 2nd gear equates to poor mileage
