simple green or something similar.
It wont hurt anything and takes off caked grease and oil. the stuff is amazing!

but wouldnt the egg drip into your intercooler? isnt it bad to have anything but air in the IC?

That isn't how air gets into your intercooler. That air just passes through to the other side like a radiator to cool the compressed air from the turbo before going into the intake manifold and eventually, the cylinders.

Best thing is after cleaning on a hot day, the intercooler will have cold water on it for better boost.

yeah that sux dude. There are way too many haters and jealous asses out there. My car has been hit by eggs on 3 different occasions. The poor thing is gonna need a paint job sooner or later.
