im thinking once we get a solid SJ caravan thread, we will see who is trying to meet on the way with out stopping (tihs will be fun) and then decide 101 or 5. IMO 5 would be best, especially for me. im leaving around 3pm and HWY5 would cut 45 mins off my trip as opposed to taking 101

Well Leo I would lead but seeing as how i gotta drive an extra hour south it wouldn't make sense for me to lead. But I do have my valentine 1 so maybe we do lead and co lead until I break off from the group

ill probably stay at long beach with some friends. On the day of subie fest we should all try and meet in the morning at a starbucks or something and all roll in together.

sounds like a great idea. i myself would be staying in long beach had i not been bringing others with me. but ya, lets do it.

So... Change my timing to leaving in the afternoon on Saturday, like 4 or 5, which would honestly be better because of the traffic in SoCal when we get there.

I don't want to be anywhere near LA between 3 and 7. Trust me!

Leaving from Monterey I will definitely be going 101 to 198. Can't pass that up.
