My tentative plan was to leave extremely early on Saturday morning, drive down for the event, stay the night on Saturday and go to Autoclub speedway for 86Fest on Sunday, then drive back up after.

BUT, if people are mobbing down Friday, then I will definitely join.

Where is everyone gonna stay?

This is the route I usually take to get to SoCal.

101 to 198 (the best road in California) to 5 and then 210 to the Pomona area.

I'll be staying with family about an hour south but once everyone finds a place to stay we will set up a meet up spot so we can all roll to the meet together

to be honest, a caravan with this amount of travel time, im sure we will have a handful of caravans going down different times.

Pat, ya im down for late afternoon, and 7pm is too late. might as well wake up 4am and smash. but id prefer like DSav was saying, the sooner the better to take in as much scenery as possible. i know we wont have much of it if we go down 5 instead of 101.

I am down to cruise with a bunch of cars, I am.. Just not leaving hella late. Anything after 12 and then it's just annoying. haha. I like getting places and being able to enjoy the weather and scenery before having to crash out.

Yea I would love too haha but we will have to do what's best for the group. But I was thinking of emailing that njenius graphics guy and see of we can get NorCal/bay area stickers for our caravan so everyone knows where we came from. We can do out where we are reppin for and our screen name or something

During summer break I traveled back and forth on I5 and they were doing construction which made Hella long traffic. If anyone knows if they stopped it would be no problem.
