Howdy,

New guy here to Subarus and the forum. While back, we picked up 95 2 door, 2.2 auto, awd Impreza, its stock cept for some 16" wheels and a smaller steering wheel. Color is arrest me red. I'll get a pic and upload as soon as I can.

Now I know it's not the state of the art(yet) that some on here have, but, to me, its a blast. Its my first experince with any AWD street car and man, was I surprised at the handling and cornering.

Of course, being new to the breed, I have lots of questions. The first being where to get parts. Right now, its in need of brakes. So where can I get some rear brake shoes for it? I'm not ready for the big upgrade for brakes (really meaning I ain't got the bucks for it right now) so I gotta go with the stock rear setup till I got all the info and money for the drum to disc swap out.

Hey. Welcome to the forum. I am kind the same boat as you. I have a '97 Impreza L coupe. I don't think I have gotten too many parts. I bought headers from someone off this forum, but that was about it. I think you just have to keep an out eye on the classified section. I have been talking to a few people, and it seems that shops can make certain items from the WRX fit onto the GC chassis.
