Subaru is Australian, right mate?

It happened again, I had my hood open at school and someone asked "If this is Australian, why is their Japanese writing on it?" (while looking at the VIN plate) Ugh! I blame it all on the Outback, and six years advertising with this dude!

I find that pretty amusing, actually. Paul Hogan's (aka Crocodile Dundee) participation in Subaru's U.S.-market advertising helped sales a lot.

I thought Subaru was Australian, until I played GT3 and it was under the *** section.

In there defence, I've seen the people he's talking about. There all idiot Honda owners and high school students. They just don't know any better.

sure did... thousands of tree-huggin-lesbian-maple tappin'-women's right movement customers were proud owners of subarus during those days.
