Room mate looking for a tahoe car. Any leads for a subaru ($2k and under)?

Hi all,
My room mate's current car is going fast. He's looking for something to fit his budget (2k and under) that will get him safely up and down the mountain with minimal hassle so he's definitely looking for an awd car. Wagons are a plus. Let me know if you know of anything. Thanks!

I know someone who might be selling an old Toyota Toaster van if you're interested.

I think it needs a starter

Galant VR4, freaking awesome car.

AWD, AWS, 4G63, 4DR, TURBO, and the limitless potential. hell it will make more power than any EJ series motor dollar for dollar. its like an EVO.

but good luck finding it.

I got my GSX which is similar as above but only 2dr, no AWS, and less reliable, but if you really are in to cars (meaning not buying parts having a shop installing it and say "oh hey im into cars") then its a good car.
