go to serramonte where the used cars are (after ford lot). look for one with a stick, ask the sale people that "i am interested on this but i dont know how to drive a stick". Im 99% sure they will teach you

aww, that would be great, but yeah, where do u live?

it sucks in america..like in hong kong..probably china and japan..and in the uk..EVERYONE drives stick..but here in the usa..no one drives a stick, the only people are those who are forced because its a given car..or is a car enthusiast. everyone is so lazzzzzy

everyone tells me how hard stick is..or how you wont get it..or how u'll be stuck at the stop light..blah blah. and yeah i get the basics..and when i drive my mom's auto..ok this is gonna sound REALLY stupid and sad, but i pretend a clutch is there and a manual..and i play around with my foot to see how it would feel..lol, yeah i only do it when im alone though =P. ive been reading, talking and hearing about it..just want to feel it...plus..ive never even felt the shifter..and moved the shifter to different gears...its crazy but i had a dream once..about driving a stick, lol..but that was a long time ago.

*edit* grammar

lol, fun idea..but..i dont think they would let a kid..do that..cuz i think they know i cant afford whatever car they have. and the thing is my parents are against stick cars..cuz..well they are chinese, and ..i guess u have to have chinese parents to understand..but yeah, im thinking if i could get alright at stick..theyd let get one..after i do that job in the summer and pay for part of the car, but still if i do get a wrx..it'll be mostly paid by them..but..thanks for the idea.

and thanks to eveyrone that replied. i was thikning about the whole driving from the dealership thing...but yeah..too early to think about that. im so stupid, when i got an instructor for that required 6 hours..i shouldve chose a stick guy! grr..my friend is doing that and..hes lucky.
