Sorry to hear about the loss.

How i protect my car is. Decent alarm with a proximity sensor, put auto lock on at all times even if youre gone for only a few mins, and a club at night. Even though Proximity sensors are annoying as f***, they prevent thieves from jacking your car. Cuz most thieves just pull the window pop the door locks, pop the hood, cut the alarm (done in seconds). The proximity will alarm if they get too close so i doubt a thief wants to be seen with his arm down the window.

There are plenty of ways to slow down a thief alarm, autolock, club, kill swithces, etc but you will never be 100% protected. Many thieves will pass your car up if it takes them too much time to start it. ALot of carjackers i know tell me this. They will only attempt to bypass all this s*** if you got a lot of valueble parts in your car. Oh, and your car can get jacked anytime of day. Most thieves i know can bypass all this crap under 15mins and they jack cars on the spot. We are lucky that Wrx's dont get jacked often. I feel sorry for all those Type R's, s2k's, integs, and civic owners!

 

So should we assume that you are a thug then since twice in your post you say that you know people that steal cars?

You can think what you want. Like i care. Act like no one on this board knows any carjackers. Carjackers are everywhere. Don't try and start a flame war by calling me names. What do you want me to do? Tell them not to steal cars anymore? Turn them in to the cops? They live their life the way they want. I know Anthony personally so dont be an a**. I don't know any car jackers. I do not like dishonesty, there are laws for a reason. Its one thing to **** up when you are a kid. But once someone is grown up and they still do imature things, like stealing, ****'em. They deserve the worst.

the only person I know that is linked to shady people installs car stereos at a best buy or something. Once I found out people he knew were checking out the custom sub box I made that I used to have in my car, I stopped talking to him.

I have found that if you associate yourself with people that do thug **** like stealing, or drugs more hard then pot, you tend to get sucked in to a 'thug'ish' lifestyle.
So yes, I made an assumption that you are a thug, but my suggestion to you is do not post on a public board in a way that almost sounds like you are bragging.
People like myself do not find it helpful.

If you have ever lost something you put a lot of time, effort, and care in to you might understand where I am coming from. If you have and don't. well ****, I guess we can agree to disagree.

Anyways, now I am rambling.

Who did you buy most of your parts from? You might be able to call them and get a copy of some of the receipts. We use quickbooks and we can very easily go back and look at old invoices just by last name. It might sound like more work than its worth but its definitly worth a try. When my brothers WRX got broken into he got paid for all the mods that were stolen, even all his CD's

sorry to be negative about your situation but most likely your car is stripped.
hopefully it gets totaled cause I dont think you want what is left of it. I had my car stripped once and I can feel your lost!! Good luck!!

 

Well called the police earlier today, and they said "will give you a call when we have anything" , and as for insurance they're going to give us a rent a car...

 

Have you asked your insurance company how it works out for mods?
