Don't forget the Saab's or even Toyota Prius. It'll probably end up on Craigslist somewhere though. Good luck.

Nice wheels and that really sucks... I'll keep an eye out too.

You'd be surprised. I saw LGT wheels on a mini-van out in the fields the other day.

back from the dead... just thought I share the story...

so I ended up finding the guy, I found a post on CL selling my wheels. Grab the pictures and looked at the geo mark and found it coming out of Fresno, but nothing could be done. I've contacted 5 different police dept/detectives. Since these do not have serial #s, even though I have pictures of all the chips and scratches, they will not do anything.

Did some more digging and found this guy is stealing wheels in the bay area and selling them out of Fresno. I found posts of him selling wheels for 6 or 7 different manufactures and bunch of different radios, seats, etc. He was also trying to sell a g35 wing that was stolen from the forum mod's buddy. Chances are if you had something stolen off an import, he's probably involved. (Fremont PD has been looking for him for 3 years)

I ended up finding a guy who had his Miata hardtop stolen and being sold by the same guy. We tried to set something up but he skipped town.

With some digging around and help from friends, I ended up finding alot of information about this guy...If anyone find something they lost being sold by shyger85@yahoo.com, I have his :

DOB, SSN, Cell phone #, car type, where it's registered, license plate #, his phone's registered address, his wife's name, and his previous addressess.

this is the guy..

I hope this information can help someone else....

What a POS. Sucks that there's apparently nothing you can do about your particular situation but hopefully the info will help someone else nail this douche.

I'm assuming he lives in Tracy since thats where his car and cell phones are registered. But from all of his sales threads he's always meeting people in Fresno or east bay.

He owns a g35 but he's selling a bunch of other random stuff from different cars.. one thread he was selling wheels for a prius..

I like to believe karma will catch up to him since the law can't/won't

Wow...that's determination.

Glad you finally found the dude that stole your wheels. How long did it take for your wheels to popup on craigslist?

No surprise the cops aren't doing s***

My pops tow yard often recovers stolen cars, often times the thief accidently leaves a piece of incriminating evidence such as an old ticket/ID or something in the vehicle, and they don't lift a finger when the owner submits it.

Why doesnt somebody trash his g35?

Edit* didn't mean to quote you!
