Wow, seriously, you did have those wheels on your car for as long as I've known you. WTF!? This is the second time out of all these years that I've heard about a set of TE37's in a Subaru fitment being stolen (or attempted to be stolen). I knew someone that almost had his set stolen at the Great Mall off his 2.5RS a few years back.

sorry for your wheel loss, and what sucks is it's someone in the tuner world. Why don't wheels like that have wheel locks?

Hope you find them soon.
I also saw a car (newer gti) with stolen wheels in fremont in the area of grimmer and auto mall.
I'm guessing wheel locks did nothing because I didn't see any wheel studs, so they cut the studs to get the wheels?

Hmm, I'm hella close to Fremont and Thornton. I better put on my wheel locks. I've been getting away with just using McGard Splinedrives.

Sadly though, if thieves really want your wheels, they won't stop. Locks will only help to deter them to move onto the next car.

I think a lot of us have experienced a theft. It's such a terrible feeling. Good luck with finding them Tommy.

Most if not all german made cars don't use studs. Wheels are bolted on. VW's especially. Our friend's 335i (that Tommy recently worked on) were bolt ons too.
