starter issues

Wait are you saying sometimes your car starts without pressing the clutch? I just want to clear up that statement.


Has it always done this or did it start doing this after you did the neutral safety switch bypass mod?

noooo.. not sometimes, it's all the time. since i bought the care in 07 i was able to do so. i recently did the bypass mod maybe 4 days ago

So the bypass mod didn't do anything since you were technically bypassed the entire time... Sounds like the old owner already messed with the wiring. If you want to throw parts at the problem, I would suggest an ignition switch over a starter in your case but again its almost impossible to figure out the problem without a volt meter, a wiring diagram and the car in front of me.

got it, now finding the wiring diagram is my next step awesome man!! i really appreciate the help and advice, ill get you a coffee or a drink ill update this thread when i either fix it or not lol
