ok so I own a 2006 WRX and 2002 Forester and my girlfriend owns a 2003 WRX, all of the cars seat belts squeak when put on. thing is I never even noticed it until a friend of mine pointed it out and now it bothers the hell out of me. does anyone else have this problem? how can I fix it?

 

It's a very common problem. I've heard sanding with a very fine grit will fix it.

You take off the pillar trim, then put some adhesive padding on the inside where the belt slides on, re-install. Then no more squeak.

Did this to the wagon a few months ago, best mod EVER! They got so annoying! Im doing the STI's this weekend cause they're starting to bother me.
