SPT exhaust quick question

Anyone know if the muffer of the SPT 3" catback exhaust will bolt up to a stock WRX midpipe?

And if a TurboXS RFL Titanium 2.5" axleback will mount to the SPT CBE's midpipe?

wouldn't 3" to 2.5" already mean it doesn't fit unless the flanges are tapered which are not all that great either

Thats what I thought, but I have a 3" catted Cobb downpipe. Does that mean my downpipe tapers to a 2.5" or 3" all the way through?

I have the same downpipe. It kind of smooths down to 2.5, not straight 3 to 2.5 like some other downpipes.

If the SPT is 3 inch it probably won't fit. The turboxs would probably fit onto the stock midpipe, but that kind of defeats the purpose.

I would just go full three inch and make it work with the cobb, that's what I did, with both a JIC Spartan DE Type 2 full Ti, and the mighty Borla XR-1.
