Theres a Red bottle with a brush on top, I think its called Carpet Clean. Its at your local parts store. Thats stuff works really good, just let the solution sit there for about 10 mins, then scrub real hard to get the stain out.

Also, you can mix up a solution of OXYCLEAN, and water.....I spilled RED WINE on off-white carpet, and that stuff not only took out the wine....but it also totally removed all of the random other stains that were left over from random spills here and there, and left the carpet looking brand new. I was totally amazed...but it worked like a charm!

good luck

was that the one where they wanted to see if you could get the smell of a dead, rotting body out of a car? Didnt they use a pig carcass for that one? Yea, the only solution would be a mysterious fire, or a really big cliff, IMO....LOL

I have found that Folex is the best carpet cleaner. It comes in a real generic bottle that looks like the typical janitorial closet cleanser. It's a tall cylindrical bottle with I think red writing. It will get stains and smell out of carpet that has been there for years.

I bought an STi in which the entire intereior(seats, carpet and headliner) were completely covered in deer blood, guts, and hair. Anyways if you want to know a really old car trick, use WD-40 to remove stains and smells from carpet. Just spray it on the carpet and rub with a rag. The rather unpleasant smell of the WD will evaporate shortly. On the seats(the delicate escaine in my case) I used oxyclean, but nothing works like WD-40. As with any cleaning, spot check first.

I had 1/2 a quart of Mobil 1 Synthetic open up in my trunk. I changed my oil and kept the remaining 1/2 bottle in my trunk in an emergency kit in case I needed to add extra oil.

I opened up my trunk last weekend and picked up the emergency kit and it was soaked with oil. I lifted out the trunk carpet and it was totally saturated with motor oil! I spent about 1 hour trying to get the oil out... it totally sucked.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement trunk carpet for an '03 sedan?!
