Just keep the stain soaked with some water and wipe with towel, repeat until towel shows no more stains, then wipe away as much water as you can. That's what I did when i spilled some ice cream on my seat.

Can anyone recommend any good spot removers? I've also got some gunky hair product residue on the passenger head rest. I've got some simple green or the wanna be stuff from costco, but is that safe to use on the seats and headrest? I read about using simple green for removing stuff on the carpets is OK but for the seats???

any suggestions or products that have worked will be appreciated. Damn, I can see my car from the window...sucks.
if you're in downtown oakland on the weekends, bring your car by subaru dealership and I'll see if I can take it out with the shampoo machine

I've got my hands on one of those little bissell cleaners. Hopefully the cleaner stuff doesn't fade the fabic. If anything I'll saturate area with water and use the vaccuum part of the cleaner to suck it dry. Thank you everyone for your suggestions.

Fizay - thanks for the offer, you rock! But I'm seldom in oakland... I'll try the good ol' h2O and see if that works.
