I was curious,

What about us that don't have a suby?

Can we still participate in the meets?

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. I tried my best, and I failed... and I guess you learn from it. There's no way I'm going to charge more than $10 a head for this if it happens again... However, food prep is going to be a LOT different next year... Food is going to be totally different as well. We'll have people serve stuff and we'll need ABSOLUTE confirmation beforehand, that way we know EXACTLY how many people we are feeding... I can print out nifty little papers with the persons name + guests and stuff... Instead of "guestimating" things.

Glad you all came out... you're what makes this place so great... I haven't been a member for almost 5 years for no reason.

Take care all.

Daniel

I almost always eat before hand with these kind of things. It's just too much of a PITA trying to eat with that many people most of the time. It was def. a good meet, thanks Daniel. I think name tags would help though.

G'damn n00bs. I know there was some disappointment about your lack of jumping too. We should set up a course next year.

Thanks Dan! I know you put a lot of work into the event and I didn't mind the food running out. Shiz happens. Besides, I made myself a bomb chili and potato salad sandwiche, I don't know what everyone was complaining about.

Maybe we should look into different options for next year. Maybe have it catered by a BBQ caterer instead. Would take a load off of your shoulders. Or find a different location with numerous bbq pits, so people could just bring their own meat. Hell, within the next year or so we're going to need a new location with a larger parking lot anyways.... :P
