Well get it if u can afford it. I would trade my07 sti for that car any day haha. I specially like the SST transmision it's the new generation transmission that's why all this top dog car makers going for it. Anyways you can always modify the car the way you want It to be like right. Just need moolah hahaha. Drive and compare. Or rent one for a week if you can. That way u will really know if the car is for you or if ur just being a compulsive buyer lol. Awright good luck with ur decision.

Mitsubishi has issued a recall notice for nearly 7000 MY2008-2009 Lancer Evolution, Ralliart, and Sportback Ralliart models with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine for a potentially leaky fuel return pipe.
The pipe has been known to crack and leak fuel when the engine is revved for prolonged periods of time at certain rpms. As a result, the potential for a fire is high.
Dealers are instructed to replace the part with a sturdier version on or before September 29, 2009.

Simple..
The resale value is ****, you loose almost 10k in value the moment you drive it off the lot, and they drop like a stone from there. Match that to the **** poor service from the factory on defects, and the questionable interior quality of them...and you have your answer.

terrible interior ( The area you will be spending most time in)
Tuning solutions not really available i know two peope who wish they never let a tuner near that thing ( Yes they are in the bay area)
Has recall's that you will not learn about since the dealer will let you figure it out....
And for the drum roll.... MITSUBISHI DEALERS SUCK!

You'd be hard pressed to find an STI with the same amount of money put into it doing more than 450whp on a Mustang dyno. Which is like... far less than 590whp

There are other cars out there I'd have for the same money. You could have something with a nicer interior, and still have a boxer

Well, you can get mercedes AMG cars that MSRP'd for $100+k a few years ago, for 30-40k right now too.... but have you ever considered what would happen to your wallet if it or the Porsche broke?
