Have you heard about the A-Line STi? Its a 5EAT but not yet available in the U.S. Maybe it will make it over here for 2010 models...

Simple..

The resale value is ****, you loose almost 10k in value the moment you drive it off the lot, and they drop like a stone from there. Match that to the **** poor service from the factory on defects, and the questionable interior quality of them...and you have your answer.

terrible interior ( The area you will be spending most time in)

Tuning solutions not really available i know two peope who wish they never let a tuner near that thing ( Yes they are in the bay area)

Has recall's that you will not learn about since the dealer will let you figure it out....

And for the drum roll.... MITSUBISHI DEALERS SUCK!

yo, being an sti owner my understanding is the new EVO is a pretty harsh ride, more like an 04-05 sti stock but ive been told worse as far as comfort. Dun think thats good for DD, also the evo is definitely not as safe. Find a used newer sti 08, they are more comfy.

Yeah if you're going to mod the car the EVO is better virtually hands down. Stiffer suspension than the Subaru basically doesn't mean anything if you were going to put coilovers on your STI anyways.

I dunno what y'all bashing the interior are talking about. The EVO X looks pretty nice.

Buy it, but not the MR.

The SST transmission gets a lot of praises, but it still doesn't replace a true manual transmission.

Unless that is you really want to not have to press the clutch anymore.

The main decision maker for me between EVO and WRX/STi is potential, a few mods and wel, you seem to already know.

EDIT, i just read you want to get AT, well looks like you have your answer.

I like EVO. If I get another car, I'll consider EVO for sure.
