At least your tint saved you from cleaning up a nasty mess.

I went to my friend's condo a couple weeks ago and noticed a Buick in the parking lot with damaged front passenger window glass. It looked like someone hit it with a bat. Since the glass was tinted, the shards stayed in place. But front window tint is still illegal...

When my car got borken into a few years back the police told me that theives often use this "window breaker" tool. Also, bb's. Could have been that. Lucky it didn't work

Spring loaded window punches require a bit of force to use, you usually end up with a nice irregularly shaped hole in the window even with tint...I vote for a BB shot by a idiot from far away...
